I was dispatched to Manchester by British GQ to photograph chef/restauranteur Tom Kerridge and footballer Gary Neville at the old Northern Stock Exchange which has been transformed into a boutique hotel. Gary had bought the building a few years ago, and had asked Tom to get involved in creating a menu for the restaurant. At the time I visited, there were only a couple of places that could be used as a location, and the art deco stairwell was one of them. It would be fair to say that both of my subjects were in a good mood that day.
